Contrary to what Salon said, the IPCC is much like Cassadra but exactly in the reverse: unlike Cassandra, its end-of-the-world drum is heard EVERYDAY and govs are scrambing to “act”. Unlike Cassandra, its CAD*, like many similar ones in the past, don’t materialize. Unlike Cassandra who endured opprobium, the modern Cassandra make a good living with their doom porn and even receive prizes.
