Obviously, the butterflies don't think its bad -- more food, more time for procreation. For almost all species including our own, increased warming has and continues to be universally beneficial. In fact, we've exploited it so much, that I think any type of rapid cooling could be quite detrimental...but only short term. If anything, what we see is during the 150 years of warming -- the blink of an eye in the span of life on earth -- our entire planet has adapted wonderfully to hotter temperatures.
