I think it also needs to said that over and above the funding the alarmists have had the media on their side representing a tremendous imbalance in exposure.

Charles – watch the DVD “Mine Your Own Business”.

You will see exactly where the money goes – and why. The scene where one greenie tells the camera that poor people are happy before rushing off for a fortnight’s sailing in his 50ft ketch pretty much sums up the hyprocrisy of the whole environmental movement.

The environmental movement has morphed into a cash hungry self licking lollipop and so it must fearmonger to raise cash to fearmonger.

It is the ultimate scam, living off peoples’ goodwill.

It makes absolutely no sense that an environmentalist group should be a multimillion dollar industry, let alone a half billion dollar industry. And this is an industry that has to promote itself.

Where does all the money go? Is there a trail to be followed?

Donna, I think there is likely to be some kind of rule where organisations only have to make a certain number of years accounts available. I think it’s generally 6.

It would be interesting to see how much they have grown, because the other side of this story is that they have enlarged in more ways than simply financially, over the last few decades.

The NGO plays an increasing role at all levels of governance. That needs some explaining.
